August 17, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Bellemare appoints team to assess Nasrallah’s information, says source

An anonymous French source told Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anbaa in an interview published on Tuesday that Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) Prosecutor General Daniel Bellemare appointed his team to assess the information that was presented last week by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

The STL last Wednesday called for the submission of all material held by Hezbollah relating to the Rafik Hariri case after a Monday press conference during which Nasrallah showed video footage and the confession of an alleged spy, which he said implicate Israel in the assassination.
