Now Lebanon - March 14 finalizes proposal on Palestinian rights

An-Nahar newspaper reported on Tuesday that the March 14 alliance parties managed to finalize a unified law proposal to grant Palestinian refugees in Lebanon certain rights.

The daily said that the proposal was formulated after an agreement with the Kataeb party was reached; adding that talks also included the Free Patriotic Movement.

A meeting was held at former Prime Minister Fouad Siniora’s office on Monday evening, during which the proposal was discussed and amendments requested by the Kataeb were added to it, the daily said.

The parliament is expected to address the issue of granting Palestinian refugees certain rights in Lebanon in its Tuesday session.
