August 18, 2010 - Now Lebanon - Evidence submitted to STL only includes what Nasrallah presented

Al-Hayat newspaper reported Wednesday that the evidence presented to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) Prosecutor Daniel Bellemare does not include any information additional to what Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah presented earlier in August.

Attorney General Judge Said Mirza received on Tuesday from Hezbollah a file containing the information requested last week by the STL pertaining to the 2005 assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

During last week’s press conference, Nasrallah showed video footage and the confession of an alleged spy, which he said implicate Israel in the assassination.
