The Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is a local non-profit, non-partisan Lebanese human rights organization in Beirut that was established by the Franco-Lebanese Movement SOLIDA (Support for Lebanese Detained Arbitrarily) in 2006. SOLIDA has been active since 1996 in the struggle against arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance and the impunity of those perpetrating gross human violations.

L'Orient le jour - Abdo et Khachan convoqués devant le tribunal des imprimés - September 23, 2010

Le président du tribunal des imprimés, Roukoz Rizk, a convoqué hier MM. Johnny Abdo et Farès Khachan à une audience dont la date a été fixée au 1er octobre prochain. Ils avaient été condamnés par contumace au terme du procès intenté contre eux par l'ancien président Émile Lahoud. La convocation fait suite à l'opposition qu'ils ont présentée à leur jugement. Leur avocat a promis qu'ils seront présents. S'ils ne se présentent pas devant le juge, l'opposition sera rejetée.
