Now Lebanon - Rifi’s visited ISF-Information Branch in show of support, Ad-Diyar reports - September 22, 2010

Ad-Diyar newspaper reported on Wednesday that Internal Security Forces (ISF) Director General Achraf Rifi’s Tuesday visit to the ISF—Information Branch aimed to confirm his and Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s support for the unit.

During a press conference held Saturday at Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport upon his return from Paris, former General Security chief Jamil as-Sayyed said that the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL) and its pending indictment will not be trustworthy until Rifi, ISF-Information Branch head Wissam al-Hassan and Attorney General Judge Said Mirza are imprisoned in the Hague or Lebanon.

The daily added that Hariri considers Rifi, Hassan and Mirza red lines that cannot be crossed.
